Why Every Dollar (and Every Volunteer Hour) Matters at Everyday Independence
Running a charity built on practical, hands-on support requires more than good intentions—it requires resources. From transportation costs to safety equipment, insurance coverage to training programs, every aspect of our work depends on the generosity of donors and volunteers.
At Everyday Independence, we believe in complete transparency about how contributions are used. Your support directly funds program transportation, safety equipment, yard maintenance tools, technology for coordination, client-support supplies, and essential training that keeps our volunteers and clients safe.
We also want to be upfront: as we continue developing our nonprofit operations, we do not yet issue official charitable tax receipts, as we’re still working toward CRA registered-charity status. We share this openly because trust and honesty matter more to us than anything else.
There are many ways to support our mission financial donations, in-kind contributions like yard equipment or safety gear, corporate sponsorships, or simply spreading the word about our programs to those who might benefit.
Every contribution, no matter the size, creates real impact in someone’s daily life.
